David R. Baisch, age 73, passed away on October 9, 2018 in Billings, MT.
David was born in Glendive, MT on December 12, 1944 to Ferdinand and Eloise Baisch. He had 6 siblings. He attended Glendive High School. He moved to Billings, MT in the 1970’s. He was married to Pamela Saye, and in that union they had three sons. They later divorced. He married Kathleen Nagle April 30, 1981 and together they had one daughter.
David served in the Army in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He was a semi-truck driver for over 40 years and retired from Sweetheart bakery in 2010.
In his high schools years, and for many years after he was very active in Rodeo. He rode saddle bronc and briefly tried bull riding. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and helping family with ranching and farming. He enjoyed and cherished spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend to many. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Kathy; son Shad (Sacha) and children Brooklyn, Jemma, Kamden, Breckin, and Darian; son Cody (Desiree) and children Heather, Eric, Jessyca, Cole, Morgann, Kaleb, Alexyss, and Whitney; son Lyn (Karen) and children Ruben and Izabella; daughter Donna and her son Aiden. Great-grandchildren Dylan, Alexis, Tayden, Aayden, and Asher; Brothers: Richard and Jim; and Sister Leona “Patty” Mittlestadt.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ferdinand and Eloise, brothers Maynard, Lee, sister Rosie Ley-Heich, Father and Mother-in-law Clarence “Bud” and Helen Nagle; sisters-in-law: Edith Baisch and Donna Nagle, and brother-in-law Donald Mittlestadt.
