Robert L. Barrett

Robert “Bob” L. Barrett, 74, of Billings, passed away peacefully Friday March 25, 2017, at Riverstone Hospice Home.
Robert was born February 3, 1943, in Denver, CO to Rex and Juanita (Larken) Barrett.
Bob attended Westminster High School. He married Flora M. Espalin on March 11, 1967, in Westmister, CO. The two celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 11, 2017.
Bob served in the US Navy and was an employee at US West—Centurylink.
Bob loved hunting, fishing, camping out and boating. He also loved wood working. He built the most beautiful items out of cedar. He built the most beautiful home in Hot Springs, SD on 16 ½ acres on the side of a mountain. Bob and Flora lived there for 10 of the happiest years of their lives.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Kiddie and Rex Barrett; his step-father Clinton Kiddie; and nephew, Brain Charron.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Barrett; his children Traci (Damon) Taylor of Billings, Cathi (Billy) McGinnis of Cheyanne , and Christine (Brad) Miller, of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Mackenzie, Jaxon, Sara, Haily, Garrett, Teagun, Dustin and Kendra; brother, Gary Kiddie of Sacramento, CA; sister-in-law, Lillyann Charron of Colorado; nephews, Brad Charron of Connecticut, Marty Charron, of Colorado, Mark Charron, of Colorado and Burt Charron, of Colorado. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Sadie, who laid with him day and night when he was ill. She loved him and he loved her.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 10am -3:00pm Saturday April 1st at the family home .
