Darlene Becker Jones passed away peacefully on November 26, 2019 with her daughters, Shelly and Sheri by her side. She was 81 years old. Darlene was born on September 16, 1938 in Billings, and was raised on the family ranch on Blue Creek. Darlene attended Blue Creek School and Billings Senior High School through grade 9. Later, she studied hard and got her GED.
Darlene married Harold Jones on October 20, 1956 and from that union their daughter Shelly was born in 1966, and in 1971, their other daughter Sheri was born.
Darlene enjoyed many things, such as her love for animals, music, gardening, and cooking, but most of all she loved her family. She loved her adventures with Shelly. They often went for walks by the river. Darlene shared her love of music with Sheri, creating many wonderful memories for both.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Martha (Graf) Becker; husband Harold (married 48 years at the time of his death); siblings Norma, Irvin (Serena), Benny, Leonard, Gladys (Bill) Kobelt; beloved son-in-law J.C. Green; and her dear friend and sister-in-law Lucille.
Darlene is survived by her daughters Shelly Jones; Sheri Jones (Green); brothers Harold (JoAnne) and Donald (Laurie); numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Chihuahua, Bugz.
We would like to thank all of the staff at Cedar Wood Villa and Carbon County Hospice for not only caring for our mother, but for loving her as much as we do.
Words cannot express our thanks for all of the love and support provided by Harold and JoAnne Becker.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at a later date. Per Darlene’s request, she will be inurned with a portion of J.C.’s ashes.
Mom, we will love and miss you until we see you again.
