Elaine Beeler, 69, of Billings, MT, formerly of Glendive, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Billings on January 12, 2019.

She was born on November 25, 1949 to Kenneth and Joy (Twedt) Mitchell.  She graduated from Dawson County High School in 1967.

Elaine married Ronald Beeler on February 13, 1968 in Baker, MT.  They were married for 38 years, and spent those years having fun in Vegas, enjoying western Montana, and debating over politics.  They were co-owners of the Southside Tavern for 11 years.

Elaine worked at Eastmont for 15 years, and recently retired from Watch East.  She enjoyed the outdoors, working on puzzles, cooking for family and friends, and loved a hot card game.  Elaine loved having fun!

Elaine loved the sun, and the winters she spent in Arizona with her dear friend Ginger Nerison and all of their Arizona friends.

She also cherished time with her granddaughters Amanda, Trisha, Kamron, and Ainsleigh. They were her true joy.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Beeler, dear friend Ginger Nerison, and sister-in-law Tiena Mitchell.  She is survived by her daughters: Laurie (Jim) Slaska, Paula (Patrick) Kronmiller; granddaughters: Amanda Peterson, Trisha Peterson, and Kamron Kronmiller; great granddaughter Ainsleigh Pilch; sister Kathy (Larry) Stoner; brother Jim Mitchell; aunt Marjorie Larsen, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
