Kaye Blair passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 4, 2017 at Billings Clinic after a courageous battle against cancer. Kaye was born Aug. 9, 1942 in Cut Bank, MT. She graduated from Billings Senior High in 1960 and attended Eastern Montana College. Kaye had many successful careers including a period of time where she worked for her brother in the Sporting Goods Industry. During this time she met the love of her life, Mark Blair, while delivering a pair of shoes. In 1974 the perfect union in marriage happened with Mark. They were blessed with two wonderful children Michele and Bo.
In her mid-forties she found her true calling and went back to college to earn a degree as an RN. Whether it was at work or in her daily life, she touched many people with her strong faith and giving heart. She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark’s parents, and their daughter Michele. She is survived by husband Mark, son Bo (Alexandra), brother Dick Harte, sisters Kathy Harte (Cindy Lincoln), Carol Quesenbery (Tom) and many nieces nephews and cousins. To her grandchildren, Shelbi, Brooke, Rylie and Webb she would always say, “Those grandkids are my special medicine.” Her family was very special to her and she loved them all in a very special way.
A special thanks to Dr. Erin Stevens for her loving, compassionate care over the past three and a half years along with all the nurses and staff over the past week.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at Faith Chapel (Shiloh & Broadwater) with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial contributions to the Montana Rescue Mission of Billings. God Bless you all!
