Paul Allen Boroughs, (aka, Pete, Burly, and Pablo to his friends and family) went to be with his Savior, Jesus, joining his parents on January 18, 2017. Paul was born on September 6, 1954 to J.C. and Gloria Boroughs in Billings, MT. He graduated from Billings West High and lived most of his life in Billings. Paul worked various jobs in and out of state, enjoying his work with Smith Tool and Smith International the most. He told stories of time spent working in Saudi Arabia and Colombia, South America. He was also an excellent house painter, his main work in Billings. Some of you knew him as a bartender. He was liked by all and enjoyed a variety of friends. He loved his children, Robert Espinoza, Monique Boroughs, and Joseph (Genita) Boroughs, and he loved and took great pride in his nine grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his children and grandchildren, his brother, Jim Boroughs, sisters, Karen (Ray) Carl, Sharon (Alton) Anderson, Nina (Larry) Sheneman and by his former wife, special friend and the mother of his children, Virginia Boroughs. Paul is also survived by wonderful family members and a host of friends whose company he enjoyed, including his best friend from elementary days, Gary Long, who came to his side when he needed him most. Paul renewed the faith of his youth before left this world, calling on the name of the Lord. The family would like to express our deep gratitude to the caring staff of Billings Clinic, especially Dr. Martin Prager and his kind nurse, Raney, and to the wonderful staff of Riverstone Hospice House and Riverstone Health, where memorials can be sent. We will miss you, Dad. Adios, Pablo.
