On December 27, 2015, Dean Carpenter, 49, was called home by our Dear Heavenly Father.
Dean was born June 7, 1966 to LaVern and Irene Carpenter in Sterling, CO. They moved around quite a bit with his older brother Dale and him due to their father’s work. They ended settling down in Musselshell, MT. Dean graduated from Melstone High School in 1989. He then went on to Vo Tech for auto body to follow his passion in cars.
Dean fell in love with Toni Marie Tafolla of Roundup and married her August 12, 1989 at Roundup Justice of Peace. They were married for 26 years. Within those 26 years they had two beautiful daughters Darcie and Danielle Carpenter.
Dean was a great husband and father. He did anything and everything for his family. He was the true definition of a family man. He also had four grandchildren; Bailee, Logan, Brody and Keeva. He was there for every one of their births. He loved them very much.
Dean also had a number of hobbies. He was so creative and could make or fix just about anything. He excelled in art, welding, shooting sports, taxidermy, auto body and much more. He loved the outdoors from hunting to going to the hills to chop wood by hand. The drive he had was amazing. He always said you can do anything if you set your mind to it!
Dean was such a loving and caring person who has touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed.
Dean is preceded in death by his mother Irene, father LaVern and brother Larry.
He is survived by his wife Toni Carpenter, Daughters Darcie Carpenter and Danielle(Kevin) Codrington, Sisters Darlene(Roger) Rice and Sharon (Alton) Smith. Brothers Dale(Vikkie) Carpenter, Robert(Marry) Carpenter, Alvin(Roseann) Carpenter and Ivan(Marissa) Carpenter.
