On January 10, 1940 Donna Jean Clark was born the daughter of Cecil and Molly Collar joining Richard Collar her big brother, completing the Collar Family. Donna passed away July 19, 2015 at the Billings Clinic surrounded by her family.
Donna grew up on the South side of Billings attending Garfield School for 9 years missing one full year due to Rheumatic Fever. Donna also attended Billings Senior High School. After leaving school Donna went to work for Billings Wholesale Hardware where she met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Clark. They were married June 7, 1959 and shared fifty-six wonderful years together. To this marriage they added three children Dean, Debbie and Doug. After the children were in school Donna went to work at Billings West High School in the Library. Donna earned her GED in the mid 80’s which was an amazing accomplishment and we were truly proud of her. After leaving West High School Donna worked for different companies putting together mailers and then became a Security Video Examiner for Kwik Way Convenience stores which she could do from home, this is something she really enjoyed. Donna cherished her time with her friends in the birthday club going to a different restaurant for each other’s birthdays. Dick and Donna were season ticket holders to the Mustang games and looked forward to the baseball season. Donna and Dick also enjoyed traveling and seeing different places. They traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica, enjoyed Cruises together and traveled most of the United States. During the last six months Donna met a whole new group of friends at Billings Clinic Dialysis. These new friends became a great support team and were very dear to Donna. Donna was one of the truly nice people in this world and was deeply loved by everyone who met her.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Molly Collar and her in-laws Ray and Myrtle Clark.
