Ruby Bernice Reiten Cline passed from this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was born the oldest of three children on March 17, 1928 in Bend, Oregon to Arthur and Violet (Severson) Reiten. She and her family moved to Eatonville, Washington when she was a young child, and she received her education there, graduating valedictorian from Eatonville High School in 1946. On a blind date in February 1953 (set up by her sister-in-law), she met her future husband (and our father), William E. Cline. After love at first sight and a whirl-wind courtship, they were married in June; the marriage lasted nearly 38 years when Dad passed away in 1991. After his passing, Mom lived in Billings for a short time, before moving to Arizona to be near her daughter. After nine years, she came back to Billings to be near her OTHER daughter.
She had many hobbies, including knitting, sewing, gardening, crossword & jigsaw puzzles, watching old westerns, camping, hunting, and fishing. She loved (and lived) life to the fullest and always made everyone around her happy. Mom, we love you; you will be sorely missed!

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William E. Cline. Survivors include her daughters Kathy (Kevin) Simpson, Teresa (Ivan) Lockwood, and her son Bill (Theron) Cline; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Nielson, her brother Alvin (Nina) Reiten, and loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place; private family graveside services will be held.
