Lawrence Damm passed away on August 17, 2018 at the Advanced Care Hospital in Billings after a long battle with numerous health issues, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Lawrence was born August 21, 1942 in Williston, North Dakota to Alexander and Mollie Damm. After graduating from Culbertson High School in 1960, he joined the Montana National Guard and served for over 6 years.
He operated the family farm North of Culbertson until his retirement. He worked for the Soil Conservation service planting trees for years, the C B&F Plant in Culbertson, as well as farmers Tommy Nelson and Harry Swank.
Lawrence always looked forward to the visits from his nieces, nephews, and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers-in-law Owen Garrick and Stanley Clemetson, and nephew Kevin Garrick. He is survived by his sisters Louisa Clemetson of Plentywood and Betty Garrick of Warrenton, VA; his brothers Leonard of Santa Cruz, CA, Reuben of Columbus, and Richard of Sidney; as well as a nephew and six nieces.
Memorials may be made in Lawrence’s name to your favorite charity, and a memorial service is being planned for early next summer.
