After a lengthy illness with COPD, Robert “Bob” Arthur Davidson, 76, passed away on May 26, 2019.

Bob was born June 11, 1942, the first of three children born to Arthur and Jeanette (Peterson) Davidson. Bob grew up in Miles City, MT, graduating from Custer County High School. After graduating, he spent two years in the Peace Corp serving in Thailand. After returning home, he attended the University of Montana obtaining a degree in Microbiology. Bob and his dad worked together operating AMATEC water quality testing from 1975 until his dad’s passing in 2000.  Bob continued to service the rural areas around Billings as well as the forest service through the water quality business until his passing. Bob loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, photography and Griz football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew Joshua Davidson.

Bob is survived by his children Christen (Steve) Davidson-Juhnke of Walla Walla, WA and John (Bonnie) Davidson of Billings, grandchildren, Zachary and Lettie Juhnke of Walla Walla, brother Russ (Darla) Davidson of Billings and sister Roberta Davidson-Pentas of Tulsa, OK. Further survived by nieces, great nephews and friends.

The family will hold a private service this summer to celebrate Bob’s life. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
