Pamela Davis of Lavina, Montana passed away at her home on April 6th, 2017 at the age of 55 as the result of a heart attack. Pamela Gay Cottrell grew up in Dillon, Montana alongside her sisters Lisa, Sandy and Glenna. At the young age of 12, Pam became an adult quickly due to the unfortunate passing of her mother. A few years later, blessed with the birth of her first child Rhonda, Pam committed to her education and graduated with her GED.

Pam’s sincere smile and upbeat personality warmed the heart of everyone she met. Her fabulous ability to crack an excellent joke was a trait she passed on to each of her five children Rhonda McGinnis (Maurice Pritchard), Gabriel Peters, Daniel Peters (Heather), Autumn Gullickson (Josh) and Summer Peters (Brian).

Pamela was gifted with the talent of transforming the most basic of ingredients into delicious and hearty family dinners. No one ever passed up the offer of a meatloaf dinner or a bowl of her famous potato soup.

A lifelong lover of music, Pam cranked up her stereo to the sounds of The Beegees, Fleetwood Mac, Pentatonix and The Eagles.
She will be most excited to greet her little sister Glenna, parents Doris Turney and Edwin Cottrell in heaven, along with Glenn Frey.

Pam most enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. From camping to backyard barbecues, to hours spent snuggled in on the couch together playing MarioKart or Perfect Dark, she was thrilled when she could be a part of their daily lives. Her days were full of happy faces and dirty hands. Nana found her true calling later in life with her grandchildren. Karlana, Torrey, Connor, Emmett, Emily, Mason, Riley and Cooper.

When her “tribe” was happy, she was happiest.

A celebration of Pam’s life will be held Saturday April 15th at the Lavina Methodist Church at 3pm with a potluck lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Golden Valley EMS 688 Cushman Rd Lavina, MT 59046
