Don H Ball, 87, went to be with Jesus on November 8, 2019. His legacy of love will be carried on by his family: wife Nellie, daughters, Debbie Degel, Barbara (Don) Erdmann, Elaine (Joe) Ganahl, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter and brother, Bill (Luanna).
Don lived his life in many towns within the state of Montana. He was a walk-on basketball player at the University of Montana, then proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War. After marrying his wife of 62 years, he served as a police officer in Billings and later as a special officer for the BIA. In his younger years, he enjoyed the outdoors and sports, competing in basketball, baseball and golf. He devoted his life to caring for his home and family. He was preceded in death by his parents Adelbert and Luella, three brothers, George, Adelbert Jr., and Jack (Nora) and sister, Wandella.
A celebration of his life will be held at the National Cemetery in Laurel Wednesday, November 13.
