Martin Blake Egeland, 61, of Livingston passed away Monday January 18, 2016 in Billings, MT.
Martin was born January 31, 1954 in Livingston to Gilbert and Jean (Martin) Egeland. Martin attended Park High school and MSU Bozeman.
He was “The Cable Guy” for 18 years. When not working Martin was a true Montanan and loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed canning, and was known for being a master pie baker and he enjoyed eating Norwegian lutefisk. Martin was a true entertainer and enjoyed being around his close friends and family sharing stories to make them laugh and smile. Besides being a social butterfly he also was full of so much knowledge that he loved to share and teach to others. He was a master of movie trivia. Martin loved spending time with his daughters and raised them with the same love for Disney movies, song and dance. Martin was such a wonderful person to be around even when he was being competitive while playing cribbage and pinochle. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Martin was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Thomas Egeland and his companion Carol Lynn Brawner.
He is survived by his children Julie Ellen Egeland, Kathryn Martha (Connor) O’Mara and Vincent Blake Egeland. He is also survived by his siblings Mark (Helen) Egeland, Marjean Stubbert and Mike (Nancy) Egeland. Martin is also survived by his grandson who he loved so much Augustus ‘Auggie’ James O’Mara.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm Friday January 29, 2016 at the American Lutheran Church in Livingston,MT.
