Harold Hans Evenrude passed away Saturday May 7, 2016 at the Riverstone Hospice Center in Billings.
Harold was born on May 16, 1936 in Opheim, MT. Son of Alma Robinson & Hans Evenrude.
He attended school in Glasgow and worked for many years as a butcher at Pierce Packing of Billings and the Miles City Packing Co. He was also talented in a number of secondary trades such as farming, carpentry, custodial services and lawn care.
Harold enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, sightseeing with family and friends, watching western movies and listening to country music. He loved spending time with his faithful companion April and could be seen walking through the neighborhoods of Columbus spreading joy and happiness wherever they went.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as daughter; Vivian L. Petek of Boise, ID.
Harold is survived by: Daughter Carrie F. Evenrude of Billings, MT and Son, Harold A. Evenrude of Livingston, TX.
He has three sisters; Donna Marlow of Santa Ana, CA. Borgie (Penny) Evenrude of Pheonix, AZ and Karen Calvert of Billings, MT.
Harold was blessed with twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and often spent time with them sharing a joyous heart and humorous mind, teaching them that enjoying life and sharing love was most important.
Harold’s only request, instead of services, was a personal moment of silent reflection remembering him for who and what he was to each of his friends and family members.
His family personally thanks each of you for the love, friendship and support shown to him throughout the years of his life.
