Curtix Leon Faw was born on November 13, 2018 to Onie Knecht and Chris Faw.  He was a tiny bundle, at 3 lb 7 oz.  He fought hard, surprising doctors and nurses with his amazing strength.  He left the hospital on December 3, 2018 with his foster mom, “Grandma Cindy”.  He became a big part of both families, and was truly loved by all.  His foster sister, Jami, created a special bond with him.  Curtix had deep blue eyes that sparkled with love.  He loved warm baths, soft blankets, lots of hugs and kisses, and special snuggles on Mommy’s chest.  We all joked and called him ‘Phil’ because of his receding hairline like Dr. Phil’s.  He was loved with many visits from Mom, Dad, and big brothers Xavier and Jaxen, who fought hard and were so close to bringing him home.

Curtix sadly passed away of SIDS at his foster home on January 5, 2019.

He is survived by his mom Onie Knecht, dad Chris Faw, big brothers Xavier and Jaxen Faw, Grandma Sandy Faw, Grandpa Johnny Williams, Grandma Peggy Knecht, and Grandpa Tom Knecht.

He also leaves behind his foster family: Grandma Cindy, big sister Jami, big brother Victor, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from both families, all of which loved him dearly.

Cremation has taken place, and a family service will be held at a later date.

Curtix brought us all together, stronger than ever before.  For that, we are grateful.  Rest in Paradise, baby boy.  You will be forever loved and missed, but never forgotten.
