Dr. William M. Fry passed away peacefully at Billings Clinic on April 18, 2016. He was born on Dec. 27, 1927 to W. E. and Naida Fry in Missoula.

He enlisted in the Army in December 1944 and was commissioned 2nd Lt. in Corps of Engineers in 1946 and served a year in occupaton forces in Japan. He graduated from Montana State University in Pre-Med and the Northwestern University in dentistry in 1952. He married Peggy Boid in Helena in 1951. They lived in Missoula, where Bill was a Children’s Dentist. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, Phi Sigma National biological fraternity and active in ADA, MT State Dental Assn. Montana Academy of Pedodontists, Missoula Rotary Club, and other civic organizations. He was also an active member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Billings. He enjoyed many hours fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Peg; his son, Doug and wife Annie from Livingston; Carol and the late Steve Ohs, Glendive; Mark and wife Andrea, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. He also is survived by his sister, Carolyn Severson, Henderson, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Bieber; brother Harry; and a son, Bruce.

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m., April 22, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Billings.
