John H. (Jack) Geer, 94, passed away from this life to go home to his Lord and Savior on January 8, 2018, while a resident of Valley Health Care Center in Billings, Montana.
Jack was born March 9, 1923 in Burbank Township, Minnesota. He was the youngest of three children born to Jennie (Price) and Henry Geer.
Jack joined the United States Army April 2, 1943 and served in World War II until January 21, 1946 when he received an Honorable Discharge.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Jennie, wife Theda (Conner) Geer, sister Meredith (Geer) Kummerfeldt, brother Miles (Bud) Geer, sister-in-law Millie (Habeck) Geer, nephew Jeff Geer, and son-in-law Dave Schlotte.
Jack is survived by his seven children. Charlene and Dave (deceased) Schlotte, Diane and Pete Nagel, Beverly and Jerry Freeman, Laurie McConnell, Montie and Lonnie Geer, Mary and Dave Jensen, Chuck and June Geer; 19 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Rosary and Service will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Vida, Montana on Tuesday, January 16 at 11 AM. Interment will be at St. Ann’s Cemetery with reception following at the St Ann’s Catholic Church.
