Celebrating Life

Ronald LaVern George

Ron passed away May 30, 2019 from complications due to liver and kidney failure. Ron is survived by his wife, Paige Marie, and son, Evan Wade, and also his father, Revere, and brothers, David, Mike and John. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan, who passed away many years ago.

Ron worked as a maintenance technician for a major hotel and convention center for the majority of his years. Ron was skilled at troubleshooting and problem solving. He always approached a project with “What does it need?” or “What does it want?”

Ron always showed impartiality to others and was not a judgmental person. To Ron, people are who they are and would take the “it is what it is” approach to situations.

Ron loved cars. At the Fall auto parade Ron identified a car and its engine by ear before even seeing it. He gave up trying to explain to Paige what torque is. Favorite movie – “Gone In 60 Seconds”.

Ron like The Eagles. He would frequently watch their documentary on Netflix.

Ron’s favorite season was Fall. Cooler temperatures and football – Raiders Fan.

Ron had an ear for precision and balance. He would fuss over why the front speaker, floor speakers, subwoofer and rear speakers were not synchronous.

Ron’s pet peeves were dirty dishes in the sink and anything loud or obnoxious. He watched “The Price Is Right” without volume.

Ron, we will always keep you in our hearts and memories.
