Carrie Ann Hutchinson, 40, passed away unexpectedly from an accidental fall on Oct. 18, 2017. She was born Thursday, April 21, 1977. Second daughter of late David and Kathy Hutchinson.
In her younger years she attended West High School, and lived her life to the fullest in Billings. Some of her favorite hobbies included fishing, singing, writing poetry, walking by the Yellowstone river, spending time with loved ones (including her cat Sam), and watching her favorite episodes of The Golden Girls and Three’s Company. Carrie especially liked spending time with her Grandma Jane. She spent most of her life as an artist in one way or another, and always lit up the room with her optimism about love and life. She was a fighter, a dreamer, and a friend to all. Carrie lived a spiritual life, and was involved in the Catholic Church as a catechumen through the Neocatechumenal Way. She will be missed dearly by many, and is in a better place now.
She is survived by her daughter Samantha Shults of Billings and her son Mason Hutchinson of Glendive, her brother Travis Hutchinson, his wife Misti, her sister Nicole Hutchinson, and Grandmother Jane Hutchinson who will miss her “special Carrie.” Also included are her nieces and nephews: Shawn, Anaya, Brendan, Emma, Robert, David, Darcy Ann, Anthony, Alexandria, Jerrad, Riley, and Alyssa. Including many cousins, aunts and uncles. Special Thanks to her longtime friend Jeff Schauer and her adopted Brother Wade Byrd and family.
A service will be held in Carrie’s memory on Nov. 11, 11 a.m., at Mary Queen of Peace (formerly known as Little Flower), 3411 3rd Ave South, in Billings. A light reception may follow.
