Julie Ann Kibler, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2019.
Julie was born on January 10, 1959 to Keith and Shirley Kibler in Jordan Montana.
Julie attended Billings West High School, graduated in 1977, and lived in Billings most of her life. She loved spending time in Red Lodge, being in nature and creating art in many forms. Photography, books, music, gemology and animals were among her favorite interests. She was loved and appreciated by both family and friends for knowing what type of books each person liked and surprising them with gifts of books she’d discovered at garage sales or thrift stores.
In 1990, Julie had the opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime to Peru and had cherished the memories and experiences of that visit ever after. Julie also treasured a recent trip to Texas to visit her daughter Cassie and husband Josh.
Julie will be fondly remembered for her artistic abilities, her kindness, compassion, and her concern for the underdogs in life. She had a special connection with animals and children and brought joy to generations of family members and neighborhood children with her seemingly endless supply of bubbles.
Julie is survived by her beloved daughter Cassie Bryan (Josh Schut); her grandsons Michael and Donovan McFarlane; and her sisters Kathy (Scott) Oden, Janie (Gary) Owens and Lenore Swenson (Allen Dedman). Julie is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Shaun Weaver, Nicole Simpson, Kristin Owens, Aimee Owens, Tyler Swenson, Kylie Bradley; eight great nieces and nephews, a great, great niece and nephew and her close friend Glenda Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart…I’ll always be with you.”
