Robert “Bob” Lala was born on October 19, 1940 in Circle, MT to Clarence and Iva Lala.  He grew up in Circle with his 4 siblings, and graduated from Circle High School in 1957. Bob went on to attend Rocky Mountain College in Billings on an athletic scholarship.

He was always an excellent athlete and an avid sportsman – he loved to play basketball and baseball, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.   Bob met the love of his life, Marcella Ronquillo, at a ball game, and they raised their family to love the outdoors.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Iva; sister Laurel (Wayne) Pawlowski; brother Merrill; and his best friends Roger Dahms and Paul Fisher.

He is survived by his brother, Clarence Jr. (Donna); daughter DeAnna E. (Stanley) Lala-Ludwig; step – children Julie Sullivan, Dan (Debbie) Sullivan, and Steven (Lupe) Sullivan; and grandchildren Jeremy (Jen) and Marie.  He also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  Bob will be missed greatly by all, especially his daughter DeAnna, who was very close and dedicated to him.

Special thanks to his favorite niece Tomy, and his son-in-law Stanley for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to Cremation & Funeral Gallery.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
