Norma Beehler Ludwig of Billings, 78, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018 at Aspen Meadows TLC Unit in Billings.

Norma was born on November 1, 1939 in Miles City, MT to two very loving parents Anton (Tony) and Leona Beehler. She was the baby girl out of four children. Norma graduated from Custer County High School in 1957 in Miles City. She later moved to Billings in 1961.

In late 1973, Norma met, fell in love, and married Delbert Ludwig then divorced in 1974 after only 9 months. From the years of 1959 to 1975 Norma had three children: two sons who she adopted out and one daughter who she raised herself.

Over Norma’s life she has worked at various jobs in Miles City and Billings, ┬áthe most memorable place of work being the Montana Theater in Miles City. She had also worked at Northland Royalty, Montgomery Wards, Volly Gayverts, Walmart, County Market, Holiday gas station, and Alsco Linen in Billings. Norma also volunteered at the Crime Prevention Center from 2007 to 2011 as enjoyment for her retirement, where she was the abandoned vehicle report writing queen.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Leona, two sisters Delores and Charlene, brother in-law Paul Schumacher, sister in-law Judy wife of Richard, nephew Bob Rodell, and neice Kathy Beehler-Goodson.

Norma is survived by her brother Richard Beehler of Billings; two sons Jeff (Kathy) Spackman of Colorado and Steve Swan of Laurel, Mont.; and daughter Tanya Ludwig of Billings, Mont. She has also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two aunts Phyllis Steinert of Selah, Wash. and Barbara Steinert of Miles City, Mont., along with numerous neices and nephews.

You will be missed mom, sister, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and friend. We love you very much. Also, a big thanks to the Aspen Meadows TLC team and Stillwater Hospice for taking care of Norma to the very end.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 13, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery with inurnment to follow at Terrace Gardens.
