Dickey Lee Moore, 78, passed away at his home in Billings on October 27th 2017. Dick was born August 16th 1939 to Ruth and Bill Moore in Fairview, North Dakota. He grew up on a farm at “Moore’s Corner”, and attended school in Fairview.
In 1961 Dick married Teta Thomas. They had three sons: Tim, Jeff (Karen), Monty, and one daughter Monta (Mike Niles). Grandchildren: Dusty, Nichole, Dillon, Laker, Chad (Devan), Shala (Jamie Sathern), Derrick, Jeremy, Kourtney, Trevor, Ashley, Jessie and eleven great-grandchildren.
In 1989 Dick married Jeani Stonerock. He had three step-sons: Richie (Debbie), Ross, Chip (Beth), and one step-daughter Penny (Bill Michael). Step- grandchildren: Jennifer, Justin (Mikaela), Jeremiah, Angie, Kahlan, and five step great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include: Dick’s wife Jeani, a sister Iris Danielson, a brother Mike (Debbie), sister in law Marlene Mowry, and nieces and nephews.
Dick was an accomplished Carpenter and siding applicator. He worked all over the country. The last years before retiring, he worked in Sidney for Big Sky Siding. He left his mark on every job and with everyone he knew. Dick had many great fishing trips, his favorite past time! He had many friends over the years, and “lots” of stories to tell.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Dickey Lee Moore Jr., a brother Dude and wife Suzie, a brother Pat, sister Sally and husband Curly Harvey, and brother in law Ronnie Danielson.
