Donna was born 6-6-1944, yes, D-DAY, a day that will live in infamy. She passed October 5th, 2019 at home from ongoing illnesses.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Art and Hazel Harms, and husband Edward Schaak. She is survived by her son Ron Finkbeiner, daughter-in-law Debbie Finkbeiner; three granddaughters: Christine Mundt, Melissa (Jon) Holm, and Natasha (Steven) Stenberg; and five grandchildren: Alivia, Landon, Braxton, Samuel, and Kennedy. She also leaves behind three sisters: Peggy (John) Trask, Sarah (Dave) McNany, Debbie (George) Flake, and 1 brother Colin (Shirl) Harms.
She lived in several places starting at a ranch outside of Grass Range Montana, with stops in California. She was in Billings for nearly the last Forty years. Donna always loved a good story, and would write accounts of her journeys and adventures, everyone loved to read. Donna always had a quick wit and was willing to jest with anyone from family, friends, to even an occasional random passer by that is still wondering who that feisty little lady was. She always had the strength for a smile, energy for a dance and the taste for a good drink. Donna loved music and dance. Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdinck to name a few of her favorites. She is in heaven now watching over all of us, with an occasional time out for a dance.
