Kenneth Dallon Thomas died Wednesday, May 20th, after a short illness, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was 73 years old.
He was born in Salt Lake City to Russell and Ermine Thomas, but called Billings his home for almost sixty years.
He is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Beth Ayers and her husband Rex, and grandchildren Cassidy and Trent, all of Billings, brother Darwin (Julie) Thomas of San Diego, CA, sister Jeanne (Darrell) Fisher of Richland, WA, mother-in-law Loretta Lustig of Billings, Susan’s sister Linda (Ken) Johnson of Rapid City, SD, and her brother David (Deb) Lustig of Billings, by many special nieces and nephews, and by wonderful friends and family too numerous to mention.
He grew up loving the outdoors, fishing and hiking and camping, and spent a lot of his days at Riverfront Park, blazing new trails with a succession of great dogs.
Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yellowstone River Parks Association, or to a charity of your choice.
I‘ll find you in the morning sun,
And when the night is new,
I’ll be looking at the moon,
But I’ll be seeing you.
