Leonora Elaine Toole, 90, of Billings passed away June 21, 2019 at Primrose Assisted Living in Billings. Leonora was born on September 23, 1928 in Billings MT to Nicola and Dorothy (Wegner) Ottolino, the youngest of three children.  She attended schools in Billings, graduating from Billings Senior High.

Lee was married to her best friend and partner in life, James Toole in Billings. Together they shared many passions including camping, running their business, Canyon Creek Nursery – later named Toole Farms and raising their only child Nick.

Lee was a very kind, loving, and gentle person who enjoyed life with her family on the farm. She loved the tranquility of raising and caring for her animals, ranging from bunnies, peacocks, horses, llamas, and various waterfowl. She had a quiet grace about her and a passion for life that touched those who were blessed to know her. She had a unique ability to find beauty and something positive in almost anything. Her demeanor and beautiful smile was infectious and put those around her at ease, while lifting their spirits and bringing joy into their lives.

Leonora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her brother Albert, and her sister Lucy.

She is survived by her son Nick and her nieces and nephews.

Nick would like to thank the staff at Primrose Assisted Living for their compassionate and loving care.
