Delbert Roy Wood passed away November 20, 2018 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, MT due to respiratory failure. He was born March 16, 1952 to Henry J. and Verna J. Wood in Havre, Montana. Delbert was raised on the farm in Gildford, where he attended grade school to high school and graduated in May 1970.  He then married Twyla Stuff, farmed for a few years in Gildford, and then moved to Colorado Springs, CO. and had three children. He and Twyla later divorced and Delbert stayed in Colorado Springs and later moved to Plateville, CO. He worked in construction and aircraft mechanics. He loved to play the bass guitar and playing for his kids. In Platteville, he loved gardening and took pride in all the vegetables that were produced. He always spent a lot of time outside taking care of his garden. Delbert moved back to Montana in February 2018 and lived in senior housing close to his brothers until his passing in November.

Delbert was preceded in death by his daughter Charity Lynn Wood and his parents Henry J. and Verna J. Wood.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Joshua) Talbot and three grandchildren: Annen, Eagan, and Eilidh, all from Canon City, Co; a son John William Wood and grandchild Colin Wood of Colorado Springs, CO.; his siblings Wayne J. Wood of Roundup, Leland D (Charity) Wood of Laurel, Janet Baird of Idaho, and Kathy Wood of Missouri.
